C&LC rail customers: Lake City & Falmouth

does anyone happen to know during its years in operation, what customers did the cadillac and lake serve in falmouth and lake city, michigan?

Falmouth Coop in Falmouth. Pulpwood in Lake City. There was something out near Falmouth on another short branch IIRC.

Outbound were Christmas trees in mostly 40' and a few 50' boxcars. Pulpwood was second, loaded in five ex-GTW single sheathed boxcars minus their roofs. The cars had cast iron wheels which forced their retirement in 1971 as no longer useable in interchange service. Third were seasonal cars of hay loaded in Falmouth for a race track in Hialeah, FL. A small stamping plant in Lake City sent out some cars of auto parts. Plant has been gone for some time. A really odd load of which I was unaware until a couple of days ago was ten to twelve lightly loaded gons of Black Walnut logs. Destination was a Muskegon furniture factory which peeled the logs for walnut veneer. Inbound there was a small amount of dimension lumber from the West coast to Lake City Lumber and cars of coal for resale by the Falmouth Co-op.
