Where is it - Video Edition

Unread post by Dan Cluley »

I usually keep pretty good notes, but there are some years in the late '90s where either I didn't, or have misplaced them. Even without notes from back then, I can usually figure out where I was, but this week's video I hit a wall.

There are 4 shots here, #2 is obviously a southbound CN in Royal Oak, but the other 3 are puzzling. I have guesses, but comparing to current photos, things are not matching up at all.

So, anybody know where these were filmed? :)

That is my guess as well, the trees have grown in a lot which made it hard to find that tall building in the background at 1:20.

The number on the signals would seem to put them between Ann Arbor & Dexter, so I need to find out when they took the 2nd track out. Didn't realize it was still there that late.

The CSX train feels like Howell, but I can't match up any of the buildings.
