Gregg's Mom

Well, it's in the news, so I might as well post this.

I'm not terribly sad or devastated. More concerned about my dad and brother...

I split this into a new topic as it needs it's own thread off of that main.
I'm just dumbfounded Gregg, I feel so sorry for you, your dad, and brother. If you ever need to get away from home for a night, give me a ring.

Sorry to hear about your mom Gregg. Came as a shock to hear that. Definately not the way to have to celebrate Christmas season.

Steven and I are planning a Fostoria trip sometime in January, let me know if ya want to tag along.

Gregg,

I can appreciate what you are going through. No matter which way you slice it, there's tough times dealing with facts.

In November 2000, I came home from work to find my wife of thirty years dead. In some ways, it still haunts me.

Take care my young friend. Never forget, but don't let it play on your mind forever. Stuff happens, and we can't control it. Sh** happens, and sometimes it is uncomfortable to deal with.

Thanks guys for the well wishes, but I'm not the one who truly needs them. I'm not terribly devastated by this. I am a little sad and, of course, shocked, but I don't feel overly terrible. Those here who are close to me should know that she and I have had a very tense relationship over the past few years and I've become a little distant from her. She was a friend to me and did a great many things for me, my family and many other people in our community and beyond. I will miss her dearly for that. My dad and younger brother are both devastated by it. That's the hardest part of this whole fiasco for me--having to watch the other members of my family suffer....
Once again, thanks everyone for your comments. We definitely appreciate them.

Gregg,

Not sure what to say. The only thing I can think of at the moment is 'my heart goes out to you and your family.

With utmost respect,
Norm
