I have about 4 varous versons of that Car for Microsoft Train Simulator, they add a sense of realism to my locals and main line frieghts
Since April 2003 I've logged over 12,589 miles, and spent 73:45minutes playing that thing, it keeps me company while I'm home sick from school or if I can't go railfanning cause it raining.
I'll upload some screens some day

hell on hotbox detectors
I grew up in Tiffin Ohio just across the fields from the old B&O, several times as a kid these cars came through and tripped the hotbox detector every time, guess it couldn't keep up with all those axles. Anyways our farm was next to Keller siding the first switch east of the hotbox detector in Bascom so they would set the car out across from my house so i could look it over real good for a week before they would finally talke it away. The ones I saw were always empty and said westinghouse usually accompanied by a matching caboose.
On a side not my favorite hotbox was when the Amtrak Broadway Limited had an axle oveheat on the diner car, they set it out and they left the doors unlocked, of coarse with no head end power all the food was going to go bad so I relieved them of some of it, Them steaks were mighty tasty as I remember. When the crew finally came to replace the bad bearings I saw the workmen loading up on what was left so then I didn't feel so bad.
