Is it possible to make links open in a new tab automatically?

Yes, by right clicking and opening in new tab.

I know, a click right then a click left is just a killer.

Isn't that an option on most browsers? I think Firefox will allow you to automatically open links in a new tab if you let it.MagnumForce wrote:I know, a click right then a click left is just a killer.

Re: Theme - styles
Just checked chrome extensions for "open all links in tabs" and found several results.
Try again.
Contrarily download firefox which does have that option built in.
....Or left click then right click which is the simplest flipping thing ever and I can't imagine anyone having an issue with doing so.

Okay, so there is an extension for it...not an "option".MagnumForce wrote:Just checked chrome extensions for "open all links in tabs" and found several results.

I get what you are saying, but I figured I would mention I liked that function and it would be nice if it was put it back in. Not a demand, just a suggestion.

That's assuming you're using a mouse. On my laptop, I'd have to hit the control key while pressing the track pad. My left hand isn't always on the keyboard, and I'm not always thinking about having to hit the control key when simply clicking on a link that should open up a new tab or window.MagnumForce wrote:

And what about those times you forget to right click since you're so used to not having to right click on every other forum on the web? (or in my case, hit the control key) Many times I click on a link and when done, I close that tab, completely forgetting that it took me away from rrfan. That probably happens 75% of the time I click on links on rrfan. Annoying as hell.

Isn't everything you click opening in a new tab annoying? Would tick me off. What TouchPad doesn't have a right click btw? oh that's right... Apples. Heck I can long click on my phone and tablet and open something in a new tab.
Just because you are inept don't force me to have 15 tabs open...

No, it opens up a new page, which I prefer. When I'm done with that page, I can click it closed, or leave it open for reading or referencing later. Not having it open up a new page just adds an extra step to get it to open a new page. Hitting the back arrow to return to rrfan is the same action as closing the new window, so that part of it isn't an issue.MagnumForce wrote:Isn't everything you click opening in a new tab annoying? I hate using a "traditional" mouse. I don't even use them for my desktops. Never have, never will. The concept of having to moving your entire hand around to move about the screen is stupid. I've used Kensington Turbo Mice for my laptops since I bought my first computer back in 1994.trnwatcher wrote: JT we sell wireless mice at work. Want me to pick one up for you?
