New CSX ST70AH at track speed!

Unread post by GP30M4216 »

CSXT's small class of ten ST70AH units are only a few months old. One of the first of the class to make it to Michigan was #8907, which led train Q327 west on July 17. Enjoy this video at EE Wells near Fennville as it hauls by with a lengthy train!

Nice video, Nathan. If there had been an SD70MAC rebuild on that train, it would've had 1 each of CSX's newest classes of locomotives :)

Thanks guys! I could have opted for the closer in angle closer to the tracks but decided for the video to go with this wider view so you can see the train coming around the corner at the next crossing up and get a better view of the variety of cars in the consist.

Jon, you're right! Maybe Barr will send us that all-new-classes-in-one lashup sometime soon....but I bet one of them will be shut down with some kind of problem.
