Sounds like it just happened in or around Kawkawlin. No real details at this time other then some cars are off or on their sides and at least one crossing is destroyed.

Huron & Eastern’s garbage track that they still own this far north but won’t maintain and won’t sell to LSRC.

At what point , or milepost does it stop being HESR? Surprised that this isn't LSRC, as they have 2 customers just north of this.

It was my understanding, the H&E owns the trackage up to Wheeler Rd. Any trackage north of Wheeler Rd is LSRC trackage. Would that be correct ??

Sounds about right, but Wheeler Rd. Is about a mile or 2 south of this point.

I read before it is HESR from Mile Post 5 and south this is all ex NYC trackage so that MP5 was negotiated years ago I would imagine.

I've seen STB filings that stated mp5 which is just south of the river
The FRA Crossing Database indicates LSRC maintains crossing south to and including 2 Mile Road.
A conflict I would say.
