Caught a SB NS loaded coke train going through Rockwood on tk 1 today. Why would a loaded coke train be going south? Always thought the traffic would be going north to Dearborn, MI. Anyone know why?
There is a plant on Zug Island (or around there) that makes coke. It goes west on CN and as you saw south on NS. Hopefully someone else can add information.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Several loaded trains have gone west on the Wabash to Butler and down the NYC towards Gary from there the last few months.

It was probably headed for Cleveland. I have heard that Zug Island ships coke to the former Arcelor-Mittal steel mill down there.
