New Signal Installation Below Blue Water Bridge?

The bollards in place around the bridge look very similar to those recently installed around the Federal courthouse and Post Office in Marquette.

I reviewed the plans for the Marquette project some time ago. The bollards are a vehicle barrier and are in very deep and heavy foundations. A similar gate system was also installed.

The bollards are nicer than the Jersey barriers. The gate doesn't look too restricting but it does make it clear that people are not supposed to drive down the tracks. Nothing will stop a motivated person.
