Re: Conrail - New Customer
Great to see an actual property beside the railroad track be utilized for the benefit the location provides. I hate industrial parks that fill up all the property along adjoining tracks with no businesses that even have the potential to use rail. In constructing this Particular siding, it looks like they demoed some blighted buildings as the SE corner of the crossing and Miller Street.
Also, I note nearby that the spur is still connected into the ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks factory. This was not part of the recent ArcelorMittal sale of US assets and in fact has been identified by the company as an opportunity for further growth. Do they get any active service off the Shared Assets?

Will be interesting to see what rail service will actually occur.
Looks like it can hold 2 cars inside. The loading dock to the right is numbered 70.
Appears it will just be a cross-dock facility.
Owned by the same company that owned a large railroad station.
