MS Speed Restriction
I've noticed a speed restriction just south of Grand Haven on the MS, I'm guessing because of failing track conditions.

Re: MS Speed Restriction
Yeah, sadly speed restrictions are just a reality for the MS. I was looking through a pdf of an old CSX timetable from 2005 (when CSX still owned and operated the line) and at many of the the mileposts there is a max speed of 10 MPH. For me, it is pretty sad to see this line in such bad shape in some areas. The MS is actually the railroad that got me interested in railfanning so the condition of the line is something I am always concerned about. Also, thank you to everyone who helped create the page on MMRR, MS, and GRE. As far as I have seen, the info on there is pretty accurate and very helpful.

You’re welcome.
