Detroit Yards

Hi all,
I will be visiting Detroit for the first time in March. I am looking to visit freight yards from all operators. What yards are there? Where are they? Are they visible from public property?

The busiest yards would be Rougemere for CSX in Dearborn, Oakwood for NS in Melvindale, Flat Rock and Flint for CN, and River Rouge, Livernois, and North Yard for Conrail (first is in River Rouge, latter two in Detroit). Best bet for public viewing are the roads along the east side of CSX Rougemere. Good parking available at west end of NS Oakwood also.
