Hillsdale County Area

At one time was there a line that ran from near Bankers Lake southwest of Hillsdale to Jackson? It appears it crossed the current Indiana & Northeastern southeast of Jonesville. I have looked at some older New York Central timetables and find a place named Ft Wayne Jct. and think this may have been the junction at Bankers with the current Indiana Northeastern line. Or is Ft Wayne Jct. the crossing southeast of Jonesville on the current Indiana North Eastern line?

Bankers, southwest of Hillsdale, is where the Ypsilanti Branch met the Jackson Branch. Fort Wayne Jct., on the south side of Jonesville, is where the Jackson Branch crossed the Old Road.

This was called the "Bankers Cutoff".
