Michigan Railroad Club

Unread post by KenB »

Next meeting of The Michigan Railroad Club will be Wednesday, June 05, 2019. Program , "Looking Back at Conrail" by Anthony Rizedlo. There will be no "Newsreel" at this or the July, August and September meetings.

Since the library where we usually meet is closed for renovations we will be meeting at the Ford Community & Preforming Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124. This is just West of the Dearborn Police Department building. Meeting starts at 1900 and ends at 2100.

Plenty of free parking and since the trees have been removed along the North side of the tracks one can photograph Amtrak #355 and NS #39e waiting at Townline.

ALL are most welcome!

In addition to the slide show, an oral presentation will be made on the history of Conrail. By the way, the correct spelling of the last name of the presenter should be Rzucidlo. Also we will be holding our meeting in Club Room No. 1.

The Ford Community and Performing Arts center, is just east of the Dearborn Police Department building, not just west of there.
