According to discussion on boatnerd.com, the Atkinson was cut down to its car deck in late 2012 at the Soo, and was completely gone by September, 2013.

The fellow that owns Reid machinery in Lansing owned the yards or owned the ships I forget which one, he was a rail fan of shorts and did not want to scrap them but he couldn’t find any way to make his money back on them. At least that’s what he told Me one day back in 2010
