Bluelinx is going back to getting cars at the facility on the Elk in GR, located on the Hughart Runner. For a while they were getting cars on CSX in the old Reynolds Aluminum plant on the Acme lead.
Is this the Buchanan Ave. facility?

Sargent Sand facility at Fuller Jct was ended but sand cars are still there in storage and the facility is just on hold until the demand for sand returns. Also keep in mind that the GDLK brings loads to the GRE at Fuller as well.

Grand Elk also still technically has access to Padnos' Front St (the old Joe Brown) location north of the river in GR, but I'm not sure they do anything with them currently. In the past this was accessed via the old LS&MS, which has since been mostly torn up, and Grand Elk now has their own spur which comes off the CSX spur at Butterworth.

From what I've been hearing, the car is still there & fouling the other track which had caused last night's Amtrak to follow a different path for yarding their train & also affected this morning's Q327's pick up of cars in Waverly/Holland. Q327's engineer had told Dispatch, after getting their yard instructions, "well, this is gonna be fun!".

Excuse my lack of knowledge, But how would that affect the Holland Pickup?

Because the car supposedly had de-railed and stopped very close (fouling) the other track that is used for making yarding moves. Possible another train could make contact with that stopped or de-railed car.

The car in question would be nowhere near anywhere Q327 would be.

I re-checked the scanner archives, Q327 had to make a different move to make his pick up of cars due to D702's work.

Is CN serving Glendenning for certain? The GTW only operated over the former PRR from PJ to the switch at International Paper to reach customers in the Factory St area. If CN is able to serve the Glendenning Whs they must have made some more recent arrangement.

Also what is the "IP" in "L. C. Howard Emerald Dr. Warehouse (Old IP facility)" in reference to? If its the building next to I-94 I only know that as Union Van Camp.
