4th street is still the old installation. Cowling and Park also. Not sure if they will be replaced? They have been changed to approach lit instead of on all the time for years.

I believe cowling and park were upgraded and are “safe” for now.. but don’t quote me. Let’s not forget the approach semaphore survives

Both of them in Kalamazoo survive - although they are both fixed signals and do not give the status of the signals at BO (or occupancy, etc).

I would imagine they won't change unless that proposed yard just North of Three Rivers gets any traction.

Looks nice (needs a logo):

The lead engine on the trip home looks like it had an issue.

The train took over an hour to get to White Pigeon then stopped south of US 12. It sat there for a while so I took a couple of shots and went home.

I wonder if they are trying to cool down the engine by having the doors open.

3834 was leading the northbound road train again today. Kind of nice to see 2 red units vs black once in a while.

Unloaded it in Plainwell. Probably for the Argenta substation.

Have the stone trains went the way of the CSX grain train and the dinosaur? Haven't heard squat about South Bend or Kalamazoo trains of late.

144th In Moline Mi has new track, ties, and pads for the crossing. They have been sitting for a few weeks but don’t know when they are gonna replace the crossing. If anyone has any info on when they are gonna replace it please tell me.

Yards are full of stone. Also finishing up some track work / bridge work on the quarry end. Info from the civil engineer working on the project.

Stone and grain so common they don't get mentioned. I can't remember the last ones but it has not been too long.

Ballast has been dumped by the 144th street crossing in Moline Mi. Track work will start sooner than later I suppose. Just need the MOW vehicles now
