Re: trainfest on NPR
Good stuff my favorite part is this comment.
"Fomers" didn't stand for people "Foamed at the mouth" when seeing the older trains... "Fomer" was short for FOMITE (or, FUMITE for the adult version). An acronym for "Freaked Out Mentally Incompetent Train Enthusiasts". These guys were INTO it!
I believe we have a few people that fit into that category lol

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

Jon and I went to the station in Durand and cut loose with his Nathion and another guy had a second RSL3 like mine. WOW is all I have to say. We have inflicted some hearing loss big time. The two RSL3's at the same time was mind blowing. It was like a 3way. Well Almost.
Mark it Zero.

I think Bob got some video of all three of our horns, and your guy's RS3L's being blown at the same time was friggen sweet! My ears still hurt!
