From what I understand there won't be a Santa Express this year.

That's what was said last year! I have been wanting to see this train since 2006! I hope they will keep the "Tradition!" Now, I photographed that same caboose as a 6ix year old kid in Ludington, July 1990! It was in Chessie paint! Where do they keep it now? Is it used during the year for anything else? Do they use it as a "Shoving Platform?"
If so, where? Is it easy to see caboose #3158 (former CO 903158)?
:?:

Nothing says a sudden last minute change couldn't happen.

It's not happening.... No last minute change... They said no. No train. Bad G&W!!!!!!!!

Spending money on track work instead. Good G&W.

Highly unlikely.
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

The only thing it costs to run that train is the fuel. All the employees donate their time and energy for the train. No body that works it is paid. Too bad it's not gonna happen, I always enjoyed bringing my nieces and nephews along for the chase.

I would like to keep a positive attitude on this and still hope. I don't think its gone forever though. Maybe this year, but not forever.

I had a feeling that last year with the take over, that the Santa Train was grandfathered in. I highly doubt given the culture at the G&W that it will ever return again...
