CSX GRE Train Location Update 11-02-07

The 24 is out of the house. CSX delivered overnight (might have been this morning - heard a whistle at 6:30 :lol: ). Kings and hicube lumber boxes for sure behind the usual Amtrak.

927pm - d801 - wb - 3 motors - 2 6 axles & 1 4 axle - lite power
orginal plan for d801 - go to wells get behind n956 & push up the hill and then run back to wells get behind n903 and push up the hill - this will change later
945pm - d801 main to siding east waverly for p371
950pm - p370 - eb - by east waverly
950 pm - d801 - wb - siding to main - holland
1011pm - detector 44.2 - n956 - eb - main to siding west end wells
1035pm - wells - d801 on rear and n956 org crew out of chicago ready to pull
1042pm - x500 - eb - 44.2 - clear pair wells - 1 motor - 4262' - 186 axles
45 cars
1051 - n956/d801 beg pulling from wells
1057 - x500 - clear east saugatuck
1111 - x500 - clear holland
1116 - x500 - clear east waverly

N956 NB cleared 7 Mile Rd in Northville at 1100. Led by BNSF 9376, with BNSF 5874 and 130 loads trailing.

GRE just departed from Lowell heading for Ionia. Heading their lite, probably picking up that car from Gallaghers.
There is also a G010 out near Lake Odessa right now.

I got to see them in Ada at Leonard Field while doing bridge inspections. If I was a few minutes earlier or they later, I would have been inspecting the RR bridge over Thornapple River Drive while they went over it :D

There was a grain train, no engines in Williamston pass, extra called out of GR to come and get it into Webberville for Andersons (ADM). Track Formen, Carpenter, was doing a big inspection, two slow orders, and a a crossing rebuild in Williamston on Monday, Griswald in South Lyon was given a bad joint.

You sure they came from the GRE? There were 2 empty bulkheads for them. The gons came from Padnos - Wealthy street

Not 100% sure where they came from, I caught them south of Leonard, so mabe the Padnos off Tuner?

Padnos Wealthy is a north facing switch. If they just have a few cars I've seen them push them to the yard with the conductor/brakeman riding the point. More cars, haul them to Ann Street, run around them and haul them back to the yard.

I see well then I should have watched the NS switch Padnos at welthy, but oh well.l I got to see Amtrak in Zeeland around 21:50 EB then I saw D700 WB at 23:35
