As I have been away for a while has there been any more discussion on the proposed trail or if INER is going to scrap the rail ? As for the March trail meeting there were from what I''m told about a 100 people in attendance and it was 50/50 as to puttin in a trail. Supposedly a Coldwater trail group was to take the lead in establishing it, but they seem to not be a formidable group.

Plans seem to be going forward. There was a meeting of mostly property owners in late February and a few others since. The trail has been named the Tamarack Rail Trail and if you google that there are a few news articles. Lots of info in the stories needs to be taken with a grain of salt, especially some of the legal stuff.
