Looks like a Greenville Ohio based auto plastics manufacturer is expanding..to Anderson Indiana..
http://www.indystar.com/article/2012072 ... s-Anderson
In this photo you can see civic leaders preparing a shovel ready site with a train in the background....a foreshadowing of possible rail service? Which side of Anderson is this on?

Without a little more to go on, based on the BNSF cars in the back ground, I'm guessing this is going to be built near the I-69 overpass on the west side of town. Those cars would be on the spur into the large Nestle Plant there. Nestle gets worked daily I would imagine, along with the "Pro-Strip" (or is it "Pre-Strip?) steel distributor located on the same spur.

IIRC they had a place in Clare MI that got a lot of cars into GLC's PolyTerm. But they closed up Clare and moved it to ??? (may have been Muncie :?

According to the company website, they still have a Clare facility. Maybe they moved a portion of operations from the plant, but it looks to still be open.

Whereever White County is.. is home to an expansion of a commerce Park. The article mentioned that US 24 and I65 intersection is nearby along with a railroad so I thinking the TP&W line. I believe Hoosier Lift is in the area as well.

"The shell building will be constructed at the intersection of US Hwy 24 and CR 1200, approximately one mile east of I-65."

This building must be going in just west of the Hoosierlift. it'll be a shell building in the Mid-America Commerce Park, which runs from I-65 east to Wolcott. Could be of some benefit to the TP&W in the not-too-distant future.

The West Harrison mill project has been in the works for the past 12 to 18 months. It might have been hinted in the I&O South End threads before.... They were working with RA and G&W officials on the project so it should almost be a guarantee that it uses rail. Location is on the I&O's Brookville line. Inbounds could either be in unit trains or like Conagra in Columbus on the Camp Chase where they get 10 to 12 cars at a time several times a week. Possible outbound gluten shipments from the mill.

Yes I do remember remember catching the "hint" awhile back but I assumed it was going to be on the south end of the Midland or DT&I South Sub's..Everything makes sense now, thanks for clarifying Midland Sub. What kind of rail equipment transports gluten?

This was the former Landis Plastics, which operated from 1978 to 2003. Aerial views show a lack of storage silos (externally, anyway), but this expansion might require those as well as rail delivery of plastic. CSXT's Monticello Spur has long been rumored for abandonment (Monticello Farm Service was the only current or recent customer) so this might save the line.
