Hopefully it'll go back on Sunday at a reasonable time; the weather looks like it'll be decent.

I heard from a friend that some DME/ICE power arrived in Buffalo just after 11AM today (Mon 5/10) on K69506...

Also of note, CITX 3093 is a former GN SDP40 still in its original carbody. This was GN 323-BN 9853-BN 1976 (Bi-centennial)-BN 6397-BNSF 6325-GCFX 3093.

K695 has CITX 3093, DME 6056, DME 6059, DME 6081 and ICE 6433. I was told yesterday that the crew was to go on duty out of Selkirk sometime Sunday evening. As long as it traverses Ohio today, it'll be in good light.

I have some Cleveland friends keeping an ear out for it - I'll see if I can update before I leave work at 5 although it's not looking good for Western Ohio in daylight. I don't think it'll crew change until Willard but from where it was earlier it'd be doing good to get to Collinwood around 4:30 and then another 2+ hours down to Willard. In short, it'll be lucky to be out of Willard westbound before 8PM (making good time + a quick crew change would still be after 7PM)

See this thread on TO for updates:

File this in the 'woulda' been nice' category for me. It looks like it's being 'held out' from Collinwood (even though it's got a Buffalo/Willard crew) as it's still sitting in Painesville as of a few min ago. I'd toyed with the idea of driving the hour & 20 min or so it'd take me to get to the New London/Willard area depending on progress but that's looking hopeless. (and 2+ hours each way for a lower probability shot of getting it in good light in Cleveland isn't worth it)
