Heads Up- Q393

Unread post by ConrailForever »

Q393 on Sunday should have a BNSF H2 SD75M and a CN SD60F. I'm not sure about engine numbers, though. Just got the news from one of my friends up near Buffalo. If for some reason the power doesn't relay back on Q393, it may go back on Q351.

Depending on the time, I'll probably go get that.

Q351 terminates in Willard now so if it does go west on it may be another 24 hours until it's seen around Fostoria or Deshler.

Also, other interesting power on NS for Saturday- 227 should have a BNSF and a CN, what models/engine numbers, I don't know. 69Q might have BNSF 4800 and KCS 4127.

Q393-27 has CSX 75, CN 5528, BNSF 8259.
Q389-27 should have NS 6649, BNSF 8215

Any idea on when those trains will be in or out of Willard?

Q393 went through Berea at 12:30pm with CSX 75 leading the CN SD60F and BNSF SD75M. Q389 usually gets around Fostoria around 6:00pm from what I've experienced.

I got 393 last night. 389 got held up in Cumberland. They left being 12 hours late, so they probably are just now getting in or out of Willard.

Am I the only one that has noticed that trains on CSX with good power around here can never run at reasonable times when you know ahead of time that they're coming? It never seems to fail

Thats how it always goes... but I take anything I can get now as "good" power.
