Track laying will begin on Thursday morning at Riga.

The GR&P is building a line to Chicago. The GR&P will relay the tracks betweenToledo and Blissfield, Adrian and Hillsdale, and a completely new line from White Pigeon to Michigan City. The existing ABDF, INER, and MS tracks will be relayed. The other railroad's tracks will not be bought, but instead be owned by the GR&P and the other railroad. It will be awhile until the line is completely finished. Track laying and upgrading will begin in a few days, and I will post updates about the progress.

you can dump your trackage rights on the Plymouth sub because you can interchange with the GDLK along your new route.....we need to make a new agreement, as its up for renewal at the end of April.....

Also, if your tracks cross the GR sub, I control the diamonds, and our dispatchers love coming up with reasons to not line other railroads across

Hmmm, I didn't think of that. I guess the GR&P can interchange at Three Rivers with the GDLK. We could switch at the end of April when the renewal is supposed to happen, which would work good because the new line should be finished by then, and I can have a local switch the interchange. Should I redo the map again and get rid of the trackage rights spots on it?

The GR&P now has trackage rights on CN from Durand to Detroit. Of course, soon the GR&P won't need the trackage rights north of Pontiac since it will own that part of the line.

None as of now, just the interchange with CSX. But there is also a new grain elevator that is being built by the new yard. I hope that maybe I can attract some business in Deshler but I don't think that there is any potential customers on the north side of Deshler. If there is, I'll persuade them to have rail service.

Oh I see, good place for a yard, such a small town, theres nothing there to block your yard production. Theres no northeastern wye though.

The tracks have been layed to a spot between Bierman and Rodeslier Hwy.

S116 is at Lakeland waiting for an AA train to pass. Two SD40-2's and 50 cars. S138, a GP35 and three GP9's with 62 cars, is in Holly on the siding waiting for S139, a single SD70AC and 76 cars, and S110 to pass. S110 is right behind S139 with a two GP35's and 8 cars.

MQT, you have a grain train on the way from Richville. 55 cars. It is currently trying to get through Vassar since Vassar only has one wye and a (sorta) long siding. The reason for it taking that route is that the new line isn't finished yet. It should be arriving at Saginaw around 7:00.
