R598-11 @ 22:13 modified their EC1 to depart the power plant in West Olive, Mi mp CGP 1.0 & diverge onto the Fremont sub-div & head south to the Grand Rapids sub-div in Holland, Mi with CSX engines #741 + #796 lite power. He’ll be taking either Wells Siding mp CG41.4 or Grand Jct siding mp CG54 & tie down.

Question please: from my notes I am showing the CSX order for westward moves is #796 + #741, I had gotten my info from prior EC1's for lite power moves. Yet, for this EC1 it was stated CSX #741 is leading. Is it possible to spin the engines at the power plant in West Olive, Mi? Or, was this a possible error made by the crew for the EC1?

Amtrak P370-12 @ 22:14 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG44.2 in Pearl, Mi with 24 axles. IDTX engine #4617 & 5 cars (Venture Business + Venture Coach + AmCafé + 2 Venture Coach).

L302-12 @ 22:31 westward reported from Seymour mp CH148.1 with CSX engines #11 + #5420 & 45 cars.

They do have a Y there at the plant, so it is a possibility that 741 is the leader.

An error like that would not fly on an EC-1.

You got that right!!

Onboard the locos, there is no way to mistake which one you are on. It's labeled everywhere from the number plates, stickers on the forward wall, the PTC screens and written in marker anywhere flat enough to do so.

The 796 was facing west and was the engine with issues on Thursday night. They ran around the wye in West Olive after dropping off straggler loads from Harlem.
They also took these to GR and they will be the power for M32713. 796 should be the leader for 327. No other engines currently in position as pushers right now.
