Sunday evening, HESR 815 brought a Marlette grain train in to the LSRC at Saginaw with the 3484, 2144, 3036 & 3390 for power.

Right about 1800, LSRC Y119 was northbound approaching Birch Run. 6355 & 6352 for power.

Late report, but Grand Elk was Michigan-bound passing the Elkhart camera at 04:34 this morning. 3 units led by the WSOR SD40-2 and about 55 cars.

I counted about 10 of those Thiele tank cars that bring the slurry up to Graphic Packaging. Has there been any increase in their railcar traffic since the new mill went online next to North Yard in Kalamazoo?

Marquette Rail heading towards Grand Rapids at 9:28am. Sounds like they are passing the overpass of I-196 interchange

ADBF 822 LHF across MLK Jr and N Grand River at 11:26 with a boxcar and a tankcar for CN. They’ve got several cars to pickup at CN and a couple at CSX on their return to Mason.

They left 3 coil cars and 3 boxcars at Ensel for CSX.

HESR just rolled back into bad axe from the south with one rail America unit for power and 8 cars, 5 covered hoppers and 3 tank cars. Lately they have been running south around 8am and coming back in the afternoon Monday wendsday and friday
