Possibly an E294 out of Flat Rock to Memphis.

Also, some Mount Clemens Sub train symbol news:

M384 is now A484
M385 is now A485

M382 and A484 will both work East Yard, swapping blocks. M382 will drop its block of Toledo cars for Sarnia and pick up any of A484’s block of Flat Dock cars for Toronto. M382 will continue thru Sarnia and A484 will terminate in Sarnia.

Also we should be seeing more X273 31s down the Clemens. These are rack trains from Toronto to Flat Rock.

If it helps identify this train, they had solo unit 3014 and stopped at Cedar on M1 for Amtrak.
During Amtrak's stop, a westbound manifest with 8001 and 2523 elephant style passed on M1. They had made it to the west end of Shaftsburg by 20:00 and apparently the dispatcher let them continue, the original plan was to have them wait there. Amtrak had a clear signal at MP 225 last I had checked, must've dropped as I left for the better lighting at the station.

This morning, Amtrak left East Lansing westbound at 08:55. Who was possibly Q116 waited at Mill for them. Following Amtrak was a westbound manifest with 3003 and 3317, they took M1 at Okemos and stopped at Cedar to let Q116 pass on M2, Q116 had 8840 and 8802 leading both racks and intermodal.

I think it is gone. As is the SD40 that was working Pontiac locals for a few days, or so it seems.

They might be taking a break from it, it had the 57 car long train the other day, might’ve had engine issues.

From the infamous LG Gibson: 03/23/24 Note: 🎊This train marks a milestone of a continuous shooting streak of 4 years of at least one train per day! It all began at the start of the pandemic as a safe activity and has just continued. 😀 Thanks to all who helped build and maintain the streak with spotting, updates, and messages! Greatly appreciated! This train is for you too!!😀🎊

3/23/24 07:10 27 degrees at CN MP 202 Charlotte as CN 5683 and CN 2640 power Train 491 over the curve. Thanks for the 🎺taps! 😀 Full 4:07 video linked to YouTube channel NG fan.

This was A491.

WB X491 from Sarnia with a solo CN 2841 is thru Capac at 09:40 following WB E271

P365 had P42 #59 on the rear today. Could lead EB P364 tonight.

251 passing MP 22.5 at 11:27 am. The third locomotive, it didn't seem to be pulling, was IC 9569, a GP38.

116 went past MP 22.5 at 5:50 pm following Amtrak down the Hill with one locomotive, racks then stacks.

507 passed 116 in Birmingham or Bloomfield Hills as it went past MP 22.5 around 5:57 pm also with only one locomotive today and a decent sized train.

CN Manifest coming out of the yard in Hamtramack (I don’t know the name).
Dual CN GEVOs, I would guess A383.

LansingRailFan!!!! I was "Off the Grid" since Friday night! But, I would have gone to Lansing that Friday March 22nd if "Railfan Gary" was available! :( Man old LBWL GP9 would have been great to see! Especially with the "Orange" EJ&E SD38-3 locomotive pulling in fresh snow!!!! Now, does anyone know when ex GTW GP9 #4910 will depart Lansing Snow Yard? :?: Will L501 likely take it tomorrow, Monday? :?: Will this be dropped off at Battle Creek? Where is it headed? I seem to remember someone mentioning it will stay in MI, but were not permitted to say where! Well, which general direction will it head? It would be nice if it came eastward!

Amtrak 350 went past MP 22.5 about on time this afternoon, around 2:05 pm.

As it was passing 251 was blowing its horn at Opdyke Road, MP 22.2. It was holding back, notch 3 or 4, because Amtrak was going to be doing its crossover in front of it in a mile or so. It had two CN's and a long typical 251 train, mostly autoracks and was on Main 2.

Then at around 2:25 pm I saw 116 passing MP 22.2 with one CN and racks then stacks. It was probably held up Pontiac by the Amtrak Dance. It was on Main 1.

No 515 yesterday or today so this should be it on the South Holly until this evening's parade of Amtrak 355, CN 507 and 508.
