116 rolling past MP 22.5 at 10:33 am, very early this morning. One CN, a few autoracks and the rest containers. Medium sized train. They can't even fill it out with autoracks anymore like they used to. I sense operating/train changes are soon to come to CN in Michigan. Things aren't quite right lately.

And just after 116 cleared, 251 is rolling past MP 22.5 at 10:41 am. Very short train. Only the lead locomotive, an 8900, is running of the three and it is having no trouble taking the train over the Hill at around 50 mph.

Southbound mixed freight on Mt Clemens Sub approaching Mt Clemens. Less than 100 cars. Quite a few frames, AIM scrap gondolas and tank cars including a string of white with black stripes.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

507 passing MP 22.5 at 5:30 pm. Mostly empty well cars from what I can see with it passing out back in the ditch.

And it must have stabbed Amtrak 355 as it just went by fifteen minutes late.

R944 just turned south at Durand with CN 5438 soloing. 9 cars, mainly tanks behind the leader, they’re about to shove across the diamond as of 7:10 pm.

M394 east clear mp216 at 15:28. CN duo #3075 + #2820 + BLE #866 + MNRY (Maine Northern Railway) #6412

Freight-wise, four in a row then a fifth a couple cars later are bright yellow shiny new UP boxcars
😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 COOL!!!! 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 Well, what time would train 394 likely arrive in Port Huron? :?: :?: My friend (Roger...with the lent 35mm Canon film camera) may be able to catch it after he grills dinner!!!!!! COOL "BESSEMER" and MAINE NORTHERN!!!! 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲

BLE 866 on "Heritage Units" spotted (by Logan the Railfanner) at Bancroft east at 4:27 p.m.: https://heritageunits.com/locomotive/detail/BLE866
Under Bristol Road at 16:50 - what’s for dinner?
Well LansingRailfan, it was some kind of meat for dinner! I was not having! Roger lives in Casco and I now live in Fraser! I have known him since 2001 and we go on trips sometimes as you know! He's cool to be able to catch trains for me and use my lent Canon® 35mm camera! Now, he caught Friday's train 394 in Emmett! But it was too dark! Hopefully these or other "BESSEMER" and MAINE NORTHERN engines come through again soon!!!! 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲

NB 515 with 5447 and a lot of empty centerbeam went by at 3 pm. Pontiac Yard is still full of empty centerbeams.

At 3:03 pm, 116 with two CN's is rolling by, racks then stacks. A longer more normal train today.

There's a lot of centerbeams in Snow Yard as well. All have CN or CN-owned reporting marks.
