GRE cleared out a lot of the yard about an hour ago. They stopped across the river and split the train and headed east. Still probably 15 cars on the river bridge and west.

Grand elk north through Byron Center at 5:15pm. Wamx 4189, 4209 and 20 cars.

Was back south about 6:45pm with 4209 leading likely 4189, and then just 1 covered hopper.

My son reported the GRE engine is south of Lowell, hooked up to a line of empties, likely, to head WB tomorrow. Must have run out of hours today.

HESR 701 departing Durand at 14:50 wit ha good sized train today.

looks like ADBF has two crews working an NS-system grain train, possibly a speed load, down south at MAC Blissfield.

edit - they picked up the train from NS at 06:00 Tuesday. We haven't had a daylight NB JAIL either Monday or Tuesday so hopefully one on Wednesday.

Grand elk north through Byron Center at 6:08pm. Wamx 4189, probably 4209, and 28 cars.

Back south at 8:10pm. Looked like 4209 leading, probably 4189 trailing and about 25 cars, looked like all covered hoppers, maybe a couple tank cars.

AARR was NB @ DIANN last night at 22:20 with 4215/4049/3926 and a long train. Overheard they had work at Dundee Cement and then Milan before heading NB to Osmer.

GRE returned to GR. With about 25-30 empties. Then left them on the bridge, west of Turner, and went into the yard light. Probably needs to make some room to fit all the cars.

Grand Elk local @ 2:30pm working at Hughart Yard, switching cars around from its CSX interchange job

Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 3:44pm. WAMX 4225, WAMX 4124, and 29 cars. 4225's horn sounded a bit off today.
