L302, L303, and L305 met at Brighton today, with L303 taking the WE of the siding at 16:51. L302 held the main and cleared the switch at EE Brighton going every bit of track speed, more than the 35mph HE limit for downtown.
First, no speed restriction for Brighton. Second, not kosher to post on a public forum a presumed speed limit violation.
It's not like he's right anyway. You and I both know the crew would already be in hot water for speeding before they even got off of the train.

Is there like a software that would alert someone in Jacksonville if they were speeding? Even if overspeed was c/o on the locomotive?

I don't know the parameters for CSX's PTC, but when I was doing PTC signal designing work for the NS account at an engineering firm in Jacksonville, FL NS's PTC would take action if the train was traveling more than 3 mph over the speed limit.

M326-22 @ 09:47 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG91.9 St Joseph, Mi with 412 axles. CSX engine #5494 + 1 & 100 cars.

Yes, PTC would catch and enforce a penalty application for speeding. On non-PTC territory, the ERAD would alert the proper management instantly of a speed violation if no corrective action (braking) takes place.

Not trying to incriminate anyone so my original post was edited. I was not implying a violation, just that they were moving faster than 35mph. Provided they were exceeding 35mph thru the EE switches at CH 45.3, no violation would've taken place given the limit, if still there, sits east of Rickett Rd. at CH 44.2 and is for the head end only. I should mention I make a concous effort to redact information that could get anyone in trouble. Last I had checked the limit sign still sits next to the crossing but I could be wrong.

Good rule of thumb: Never comment on speed. Unless you're in the cab, looking at the speedometer, you don't know. Period.

I was able to make it to the top of the hill just as the combined L301 and M326 crested the hill. They were working really hard. Here is a link to my YouTube video.

Great video & thank you for uploading. There looks to be an old track on the right, was that a siding to a business at one time, or was that where the Helpers used to be kept at?
