R598-29 @ 09:06 is on duty at Wells mp CG41.4 & will be taking 1/2 at a time the loaded coal train C800-27 in Wells over the Saugatuck Hill.

L303-29 @ 11:21 Grand Rapids, Mi job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #3235 + #7205 & 2 cars (2 loads + 0 empties) @ 258 tons & 267 feet long. Sounds like he’s close to departing & has work for Lansing.

R598-29 @ 11:27 copied their EC1 at mp CG28.8 & heading east to the power plant in West Olive, Mi with BNSF engine #8505 & CSX engines #3243 + #759 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF Executive engine #9687. This was C800-27 that had tied down there early this morning.

M326-29 @ 11:31 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG44.2 Pearl, Mi with 380 axles.

R598-29 @ 11:37 eastward Holland, Mi Depot mp CG25.3 In about ½ mile he’ll diverge onto the west end of the Wye & onto the Fremont sub-division.

M326-29 @ 11:55 eastward has stalled out on Saugatuck Hill approx mp CG32.5 Dispatcher told him there's a loaded coal train that is headed for Grand Jct & they'll assist him. I haven't heard the DD at mp CG91.9 reporting the coal train yet.

M326-29 @ 11:55 eastward is talking cutting his train & taking half over the Saugatuck Hill at a time & will then end up continuing eastward with his power placed on the headend, instead of running with a mid-dpu. M326 had said he presently has 5,000 tons on each side of the mid dpu. Another thought is to have R598-29 bring power to him.

The new plan is for M326 to cut away from his train taking 3,000 tons over the hill & then go back to get the rest of his train & couple up to the 1st batch of cars & run with both engines on the head end.

M326-29 @ 15:32 eastward Holland Depot mp CG25.3 with CSX engine #719 + mid dpu CSX #5315 (in position 49) & 92 cars. They had talked of reconfiguring their train at Saugatuck by moving the #5315 from its mid dpu position to be a trailing engine. This was due to them stalling out on the Saugatuck Hill & having to break their train into 2 parts. However, they had opted to keep the mid dpu configuration.

L302-29’s power came off M510-28’s power from yesterday afternoon while passing Deshler Cam. Their 3rd unit was CSX 2505 and probably dropped off in Detroit for a Yard Job.
