CSX Train Location Updates - August 2022

21:17 - L303-19 thru EE Brighton, trip optimizer must be broken, they were going pretty fast. 147 cars east of Lansing tonight. Sparrow24's axle count works out to 146.

L303 was FLYING by Howell too. Strange you counted 147 when I counted 148 and Sparrow24 found it to be 146 on the DD at South Lyon.

L302-20 by Howell at 16:02 with 182 cars. 700+6544 on the head end. DPU 989 was after the 66th car and 116 more cars after. One of those 183 cars reported earlier was a four axle unit.

Edit: An issue with L302-20 not to far west of Howell, the train is stopped and the engineer will have to pull the entire train by the conductor for him to inspect it, and then have to walk the entire 182 cars back to the head end. Don't count on seeing this train beyond Fowlerville for any time soon.

L302-20 currently departing from the east of Fowlerville at 18:24 with it's 182 car train after a two hour delay. Nothing was found but the conductor got his exercise. It is possible 6544 may get set off at Lansing to mate with 4228 on L305/304. By Howell at 16:02 with 700+6544+989 dpu.

CSX engines #700 + #6544 + mid dpu #989 & 182 cars (assuming the CSX #6544 wasn't set off in Lansing, Sparrow24 had messaged me & pointed out the timing for him to reach DD104.3 was pretty quick & he may not have worked Lansing & that the axle count hadn't changed from the prior DD report).
