If D708 was leaving Howell shortly with a 69 car pick up from GLC, they certainly would not be taking it east,

Overnight, D70611 had 118 cars leaving Lansing and was by Howell at 00:39 with 5237+361 on the head end. G76611, grain load from Webberville went east at 03:15 with only 84 loads despite three units, 3260+144+3132. 3132 was actually supposed to be the leader but when the empty was sat off at Webberville on Monday, there was not enough room to park three units outside of the plant so they took it to the east end of Williamston siding and parked it there. Before picking up the load, crew went back to pick it up, but it wound up as the trailing unit instead of the leader. They then had to wait for D706 to pass before putting the train together.

Reported from Grandville mp CG6.0 @ 1:00pm. At 1:05pm he contacted Rouge saying he has 89 cars (the DD19.1 report was stepped on by another CSX radio call & could make out the axle count).

Thank you BL2-1843 for your detailed reports. I live only about 30 minutes Northeast of Howell in Linden and would like to get down to Howell sometime to watch the GLC. We really like the Howell / Brighton areas and may move there someday.

D705 by Grand Ledge at 5ish AM. Had a small train into Lansing and no drop off. Picked up 150 cars on three tracks for GR. Idk where it ended up but it was out of time around 7:00 AM.

D707 was back by 7:00 AM. Worked Nexeo, Woodbury, Lake O, StoneCo.

Lansing Railfan writes: 705 by Grand Ledge at 5ish AM. Had a small train into Lansing and no drop off. Picked up 150 cars on three tracks for GR.

BL2-1843 writes: Had only 54 cars out of Detroit. 361-5437 on the head end. RN asked them before they even got to Howell if they has orders to pick up at Lansing. They said no they did not, to which was replied "you better get in touch with somebody because there are 200 cars in the yard waiting to go". So much for their planned short night. D78813 turning at Ogihara today, after setting off only 44 cars in the Howell pass yesterday for GLC to pick up on Saturday. Hardy worth piking up for only 44 cars unless they bring down another 75 for CSX.
