D708 came back from Ann Pere around 3:40, leaving a lot of cars on the CSX main for GLC. They actually had to run down to Brighton to switch onto the siding to pass all of the cars they dropped off.

With irregular D708s the last week it’s left the interchange packed.

D70801 arrived west of Howell around 15:00, parked their 82 cars for GLC at Highlander Way, went power light into the siding at Howell to get an air test on the 40 cars GLC sat off on Saturday, pulled them east onto the main at Ann Pere and back west onto the main west of Lucy Road. At 3:40, they returned power light back to get their 82 cars to put them into the siding. They than ran east across the diamond to pick get their 40 car pick up went to Brighton to run around it, returned back to Howell where they picked up 21 additional cars left by GLC at 12:30 today, (delivered by GLC 329-395. They departed for Lansing west around 7:30pm with 61 cars to be parked on main two at Ensel for the night.

Regarding the 105 cars GLC had south of Durand last Friday, all of them went to Ann Pere. On that day, D708 arrived power light at Ann Pere at 12:50 and sat there for nearly two and one half hours before GLC arrived. (GLC power that day was 399-382) GLC backed the train ten cars into the transfer where D708 pulled them out when GLC put the EOT on for them and off they went back to Lansing.

But yes, interchange cars between CSX & GLC at Ann Pere are often 50-80 cars or more several times a week. Also, the two older GP35s reported last week heading north from Howell, was 393 and 390 which was not reported.
