327 is currently crawling through Holland. I’m guessing they are working the yard.

MQT Z151 arriving at Wyoming with around two dozen mixed for CSX. Rouge Tower wasn’t aware that they’re running today so doesn’t have all of the Marquette-bound traffic worked, but there are 35 to pickup it sounds like. I guess we’ll see.

Supposedly D705/706 was supposed to start today...did either one run?

11:03 edit to add: Q326 approach medium at 66, sounds like they’re heading into the hole at Bangor for Q327, which is approaching Grand Junction.

11:12: BNSF ???? Clear 39 (Fennville), as D801. Guessing coal loads from Wells. Q327 was at Grand Junction at the same time.

I checked thru the scanner archives starting at midnite & didn't hear any radio traffic at all for either D705 or D706.

I’m just speculating but I was told that 705-6 doesn’t start until 9/7.

Also, 705-6 is one way each day.

D705 goes WB on day two
D706 goes EB on day one etc...
6 days a week service stopping at Ensel each day.

But again, pure speculation. Lololololol

I didn't get to near Oak Yard before the train! A CSX engine was backing cars in! Found the engines sitting just before 5:30 p.m. I photographed the power through the fence from Evergreen overpass! My first time seeing a MAROON & GREY SCRIPT SCHEME" SD70ACU!!!!

Eastward!

FWIW D901 has run a few times lately, to forward traffic from GRP to LAN. I would imagine this is the last time it will run, with D705/706 beginning soon.
