I say the "Virus Crap" has not ruined the Mt. Clemens railroad watching! Just changing the "Train Symbols" means nothing to me!!!! What I don't like now is how most every train is using standard CN "Widecab GEs!!!!" There's not as much variety─especially with the"Cowls" at their end of life!!!! Now, I just got southbound GTW 533!!!! It had the nice last GTW "Operation Lifesaver®" GP38-2 #5856 pulling four cars!!!! It cleared Masonic Road, Fraser, 6:43 p.m. This train reminds me of the "GTW Locals" of the 1990s!!!!
Although every generation can have their nostalgic opinions, from a modern foamer persepctive railroading has lost much flavor over the last few years now that most pre 1990s merger engines are now painted into their inherited Class 1s, signals have mostly been upgraded to modern Safetrans models, precision scheduled railroading means fewer butblonger trains, and even the corporate owned shortlines have less flavor when their engines paint colors look the same as they do on other sister railroads. As well as most 6 axle engines looking very much the same anymore.
Although, those who work there may actually prefer signals that can be seen with the sun shining on them, and engines that are more reliable and have things like AC.
