There's a 10mph speed restriction at the Saugatuck Hill & is concerned he may stall out at that speed & there are no other crews around to help out if he stalls.
Surprised they haven’t fixed that spot yet. Worst spot on the railroad to have a slow order, right at the base of the hill. No momentum to help with the climb.

Just a small note - Y121 got abolished, and Holland is now using a local symbol called D702 to do daytime switching around Holland.

Also, Y106 east at Fox in Grand Rapids 10:19am.
W00104 is also westbound at Grandville 10:14am, heading back towards Chicago, so no run to Detroit today.

What and where is the problem exactly? I hadn't heard about it yet.

There’s a washout just east of the bridge in the curve there...apparently fixed earlier but it’s a surface problem now...bad enough for the train crew to call it in.

Field reporting saying N80303 coal load is going through Plymouth enroute to Wixom to hand off to LSRC for Essexville. I'm glad to see CSX gave those loads their own symbol, rather than stealing the west olive N800/N801 symbols.
Y106 also appears to be working just west of Fox in Grand Rapids as of 2:45pm.
