At 06:28, Desk 8 was lining up A482 to meet M383 at Nolan and a massive E271 at Haven. Fell asleep and missed all of them going by the house.

Wb mixed freight with 2CN mm 205 at 1346

2308 and 2273 leading Train 251 (?) passed MP 22.5 NB at 1:55 pm with a long train devoid of autoracks. Looks like a lot of headend stuff for Pontiac (included tons of loaded centerbeams: the distribution center on 7 Mile Road in Detroit is still keeping 515 busy I guess). The entire second half of the train consisted of CN rotary hoppers. No sand cars.

Lite CN 2981 drifted SB past MP 22.5 at 4:30 pm. This was the single locomotive on 251 yesterday. It must have left the train in Pontiac to combine with 401 as suspected before it headed north with maybe 401's power today. I wonder if it is the power for 514 today? We will see if it comes back with a stack train later this evening. Or if the usual 514 power comes by this afternoon.

Yesterday SB 514 had three locomotives, 5781, 9618 and 5340. When it came back NB last night it just had 9618 and 5340. As mentioned above, 2918 went south lite out of Pontiac this afternoon. Now, at 6:35 pm, 2819 and 5781 are NB with Train 514 heading back to Flint. So they left 5781 at Moterm last night for some reason.

A CN employee said on FB that during this slowdown due to automotive plants shutting down, 251 has been abolished. There is a 451 in its place that is from Flat Rock to Pontiac.

Train 514 NB past MP 22.5 at 9:30 pm with only lite power. I guess that NB container train was it for the day. Probably was a 119 extra.

Westbound stack train with CN 2891 & 5781 through East Lansing at 21:34.

Eastbound with CN 2867 & 2826 through at 21:45.

That stack train is the one that went by MP 22.5 awhile ago. An extra that I thought was 514.
