Caught them both at Masonic (CP BECK). CN 2928 on M385.

Train 251 I presume (running a bit late) is NB passing MP 22.5 at 6:50 pm with a BNSF leading a UP and two CN's, all roaring away to bring the train to the crest of Birmingham Hill. Must be a long train.

NB manifest through Mount Clemens at 19:25. CN/CN/CN/CN/CN, 94 cars. Largely chemical hoppers and tanks - looked to be A482.

CN 2222, 2141, 3835, 3175, & 5757. Yes, A482 with just Sarnia-bound traffic. The rest of the mixed freight consist would be put on a different train in Sarnia to head to Toronto normally...

We left around 4:30 p.m. since it seemed nothing was happening!!!!! Does anyone know what "The J" unit was doing Saturday Feb 15?

We left around 4:30 p.m. since it seemed nothing was happening!!!!! Does anyone know what "The J" unit was doing Saturday Feb 15?

Dont get all worried - it was still sitting in Pontiac this afternoon. 515 is using the CN 5459 as its primary engine currently.

Best chance to see 515 is Monday-Friday. They have a very steady schedule those days.

The rest of the local jobs in Pontiac are usually assigned off the extra board and work well after dark.

Train 251 is NB passing MP 22.5 at 4:12 pm with stub-nosed 2505 leading 5756 at 50 mph or so.

Train 514 with 5413 and 5340 again was SB past MP 22.5 with a few containers.

Train 515 is NB just past MP 22.5 with 5459 and 30 some cars.
