M384 through New Haven at 18:43. CN 5729 & 2160 with 135. There was a long string of BLE hoppers in the mix, about 30-35 of them. Don’t believe I’ve seen them before on 384/385.

Yesterdays M384 had a block as well. Empty coke hoppers headed to ArcelorMittal Dofasco in Hamilton, Ontario.

Southbound CN Intermodal train with 1 CN unit and 60 cars, almost all double stacks, by Linden at 11:24am.

Many of the containers said "SMLINE", which makes me think this was an extra down to Moterm and was not the typical Southbound 514 from Flint. Its not the right time for 514 anyway and 116 is long gone from last night.

That 118 must have gone south of Pontiac around 12 noon or so while I was out as lite power just drifted NB past MP 22.5 at 2:10 pm, which I presume was its power after it dropped off its train at Moterm to store at Pontiac.

Westbound through Bancroft at 1435. BNSF ES44C4 and a CN SD70M-2. Short train of General freight and autoracks that came out of Flint. Has work at Cory Yard.

What I’m guessing is A451 or E251 (which is it now?) is northbound between Gaines and Durand as of 1440.

What I presume is a late-running 515 local out of Pontiac with 5435 again and 42 cars just passed MP 22.5 at 4:24 pm. Most of the cars were short (50') boxcars. Four or five were autoracks (??). Just a couple were coiled steel cars though 251 had about a dozen loaded ones on it this afternoon on the head-end ahead of its autoracks, which usually is the Pontiac setoff. And three gondolas full of scrap, which is another surprise as mostly empty gondolas go south on it for the DCON interchange. Weird train today and hardly any of the usual cars on it (lumber products, tanks and covered hoppers) that go to the local industries. My guess is most of this train is going to Conrail and 533.

M384 through New Haven at 20:25. CN 5670 & 2559 with 109 cars. A string of empty frame flats are included today which must mean the auto industries are back from the holidays.
