Lowell has hoppers on every track, including a long line south of town. Looks like some newer CP higher capacity hoppers as well. Also 3 or four hoppers and 1 tank for AMWAY on the siding along the Mainline in Ada. Plus more hoppers at Fuller.

Saw LSRC Z127 today in Wixom. They had LSRC 6301, 6351, and two CSX engines, 166 and 5442 that came down from Flint.

LSRC 6351 is the first of the newly arrived SD50s rebuilt by MEI.

Z151 came south around 6 pm and went back north at 8:30 pm last evening, so there will be no 151 today :(

Was there a large fertilizer or grain block on this?

Local Grand elk job facing south, just north of BO tower in Kalamazoo. WAMX 4009 leading a mix of boxcars and hoppers. Awaiting Amtrak 352 to get through town.
At 5pm, saw at least two strings of stone hoppers on the East end of "Botsford" yard. Two NS locos attached. Also another NS unit further east of that, looked to have a few cars, maybe the local. Headlight on but not moving.

GRE went east around 1:00pm. Did not see them return, but Ann St. Yard is full of loads and empties.

Somebody said that the GRE will soon be doing 5 days a week operations. Does anyone know when that will start?

I've been told it's not going to happen. Time will tell.

It was talked about, but personally I don't think there's enough business currently to warrant running 5 days a week.
