Holly Sub has been busy today since around 4:30pm until now (about 9:30). Four (4) trains have gone by in this time period.

I know this because I now live just off the Holly Sub in Linden. We are about 1/3 mile away from the track through Linden. I can go upstairs and see the tops of the railcars going by. We will see better when the leaves are off the trees.

We just moved here a week ago as I am back in Defense working in Sterling Heights. Its a little commute, but a great job as I am now out of the automotive industry (too stressful - Engineering).

Eventually I might post here and there about trains going by, but working full time my posts will only be here and there. Its fun hearing the trains go by and at night too, as the distance is just enough so its not too loud, but loud enough to hear for sure. The first few nights just after we moved my wife asked if I heard any trains and I said NO! I was out completely the first few nights as we moved ourselves and I am definitely NOT in my 20s anymore! (Now 43 and hope not to move again, at least not doing it myself).
