Michigan Shore headed north through Grand Haven a few minutes ago. First time I have seen a boxcar in the consist in quite a while.

There used to be a small lumber yard on the east side of the tracks at the co-op mill. Had another location in Grant. Google seems to indicate they are closed.

West Michigan left 7 cars for (hopefully) D700 to pick up last night.

Is the GRE out and about today? Might need a chainsaw going thru Ada if they are

Looks like the crew is there at 7am

Nothing looks like it moved (C&M load hasn't moved) so they must have been on tree removal

GRE WB around 4:00pm in GR today, parked on the Grand River bridge. Looked like 15 or so cars from King.

Z151 was on duty a 0900 this morning to come down to Grand Rapids. Assuming the train is/was at Sparta like normal. 110 cars for them to take north in Wyoming today.

West Michigan left 4 cars for CSX in Hartford last night. The new 136 lb rail has been installed on the CSX main and it looks awesome!

GRE --- EB Leonard at 10:20 with 19 CHs for King.

About an hour ago, GDLK 120 was northbound just north of 44th St. in Wyoming switching Magic Steel with one of the WSOR SD40-2s.

Does the lumberyard south of 54th on Clay Ave. still receive wood products? I don't get down that a way much anymore.

GRE went into AMWAY light at 1:00pm and came out pushing the aforementioned 4 cars up the hill. I saw Grand Elk running backwards with a lumber car at 54th Street a year or so ago, for the lumber yard along Clay Ave. Since my daughter moved, I don't get the same opportunities to observe.

Can't remember if that SB train to Kzoo is a turn job. Would it come back north in a few hours?
