AANR, thank you for posting your videos. I like how you show the whole train. I also like that you catch them at locations where they're going slower. It captures all the sounds more distinctly.

I wish I could figure out which large tank cars are going to Cadillac and which are going to Kalkaska.

You're welcome AARR. I enjoy the clickity-clack on the rails myself. I'm lucky that I get to do a job I enjoy and as a bonus the tracks run past my route. If they head to Clare, there's a good chance I'll see them.

Leaving Cadillac for Clare at 1000. They switched Cadillac on Friday, didn't leave town.



Edit: Hadn't returned as of 1700.

Cbtx is the reporting Mark's on the black tanks that are parked on the zfs siding in Ithaca. Currently 3 of them. They look pretty new. I also see a loaded beam car at letherer truss tonight on my way by.

Edit: Possibly also running north out of Cadillac this afternoon. Editx2: heard them return from the north just before 1500.

When I was through Middleton this afternoon there was a number of covered hoppers at the fertilizer place as usual but also there was a transformer on a recessed flat car. I didnt see if it was articulated or not.

I wonder if the transformer is for the plant in Carson City?

GLC southbound thru Durand

I see that the new ties along river road have been installed and the old ones now litter the ROW. Looks like about every third tie or so into TC were changed out. Sorry no pictures since I have to depend on my wife to drive me around and she is NOT a rail fan. Maybe some of you saw this operation and might have took some pictures.
