Does anyone know when the tunnel will be back online? I would like to see reroutes on the Holly sub tomorrow and Tuesday after work.

I am working at BAE Systems now in Sterling Heights, have a buyer for our home here in Richland, and are probably moving to Linden as we are interested in a new build home there (only about 1/2 mile away from the Holly Sub!!)

L533 working the lonely Mount Clemens sub at the moment with an extra long train. Appears to be cars not normally associated with MTC sub customers - i.e. many CN non high cube boxes. Luckily for the crew, 533 need not worry about clearing for opposing road freights this coming week. A bit more relaxed around here.

And, am I correct in assuming that none of the reroutes will be going via the Flat Rock Sub (Read: through Carleton?) I haven't been to Carleton in a long time.

L533S departing Mount Clemens for Detroit (East Yard) with @ 30 cars at 17:00, including several 89' CN/GTW/ICG auto parts cars, a tank car, empty centerbeams and many 60' high cubes. Who utilizes 89' system boxes in Port Huron? GTW 4929 in charge again.

A SB went past MP 22.5 at 5:30 pm just before Amtrak 355 left Pontiac. From the consist, mostly tanks, chemicals and grain cars, it looked like a reroute as this is not typical for Holly Sub. trains. Missed the power.

Another SB apparent reroute (from the consist) went past MP 22.5 at 6:20 pm with two CN's.

L533N, light engine GTW 4929, by Mount Clemens depot at 18:35, after having dropped its entire train at East Yard. And with that, you can turn the lights out on the MTC sub for another day. Sure is refreshing though, not having all of these 150+ car freights rumbling through your yard (literally) all day and night. I'll enjoy the respite while I can! Sounds like mid to late week before anything starts to happen up in Port Huron. Big job.

This train is passing MP 22.5 on the Holly at 7:16 pm.

And as the above autorack train is SB on Main 2, a NB container train with two or three BNSF units is passing it on the other side on Main 1. Maybe 149 reroute or 514 with odd power (never saw 514 head south today). Wait, it is a mixed freight with containers on the front, the autoracks and then sand cars and again autoracks. Maybe a late 371 doing double duty? All the regular trains seem missing today.

I caught this same train at Williams Lake RD at 8:05 PM BNSF 6805, BNSF 67165. behind the internodal was a good chunk of autoracks then a mix of 20 to 25 cars, then another chunk of autoracks (as best I could tell the autorack were all loaded)
Also thanks for the heads up on this one I was able to get over just in time to catch it.
