148 met a westbound at Trowbridge at 00:23. I managed to miss the power on both. Doh!

Some odd trains on the Holly south of Pontiac last night. Both were NB's in the wee hours of the morning. One sounded like a light locomotive so maybe it was a 513 heading back to Pontiac. The other one was a short train. This morning, right before Amtrak, a SB went by. I presume either 116 or a 280 as I didn't get up to look.

Amtrak's first and second trains out of Pontiac and the last two into Pontiac still running with seven cars instead of the usual five even though the holidays are over. The middle trains (350/355) never went beyond their usual five cars over the holidays, adding a extra snack car. One day last week they put on a baggage car instead of the extra snack car like they were most of last year to get the proper axle count.

Eb manifest by 205 at 1240. 2 cn. Moving pretty slow. There was a truck at the plant in potterville a bit ago so maybe working there or something.

In Pontiac Yard 5651 and an SD50/60 (standard nose) with caboose in between sitting in yard

GP38-2 58?? and pair of CN GE’s on engine track

Long string of center beams on the main (can’t see engines). There are a lot of empty center beams and box cars in the yard.

A pair of BNSF GE’s leading a mixed freight north out l Pontiac while another mixed freight is stopped on the 1 track pointing south.

Those two CN locomotives reported at the Pontiac fuel rack this afternoon drifted down SB past my house around 5 pm. Must have been one of the moves I heard last night as one of the trains sounded like lite locomotives. It must have been an extra container train to Moterm yesterday that they came off of and maybe they will be powering one tonight NB on the Holly.
