What I presume was 391 went NB past MP 22.5 on the Holly last night around 11 pm. Short train, all mixed freight. Three locomotives. I never did see or hear a 119 last night after the two-unit set of light power went by earlier.

What looks like a Train 280 (all autoracks) with two UP units is rolling SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 8:04 am.

I believe I read in a Facebook group that two engines were originally intended to go south from Pontiac on yesterday's midday Q116. Maybe plans changed and they went south on their own.

Local Train 515 SB past MP 22.5 right behind Amtrak around 11 am with 4925.

And right behind 515 is 116 with two NS locomotives.

And soon thereafter at 11:30 am a returning NB 950 (I presume) with lite 4619 had a rolling meet with a SB work train powered by an FL-1. Busy mid-day on the Holly Subdivision.

At 1 pm or so Train 451 with two CN GE's went NB past MP 22.5.

At 3 pm a second 280-ish all autorack train today went SB past MP 22.5 powered by a single NS unit. Third NS unit on trains here today.

And while I am giving reports, Train 515 returning to Pontiac just passed MP 22.5 at 4:10 pm. And that work train is working around Opdyke Road, MP 22.2, this afternoon.

NS 8995 and 6995 were on an extremely late Q116.
Also, NS classifies their Dash 9s as C44-9Ws.

With all those UP and NS units on trains yesterday I am expecting some or all of them to return to Chicago today. Maybe on 451. We will see.

Train 950 with 4619 rolling SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 8:56 am.

And I was correct. An early Train 451 NB past MP 22.5 at 9:40 am with three NS units leading two UP ones.

It seems to me that NS ordered these with "4,000 HP" since they didn't want standard "4,400 HP" to save fuel! The 1,000+ "Catfish Units" should be as I mentioned.......
"C40-9W!!!!" Correct me if I am wrong!!!!

And M391 had one NS and one UP at Milwaukee Jct shortly after the meteor blew up.

All NS Dash 9s have been upgraded to 4400 hp since being purchased.

Another busy morning on the Holly south of Pontiac.

Train 950 with 4916 SB at 9:25 am.

Train 515 with 4925 SB at 10:25 am ahead of Amtrak.

Train 451 was early again, NB past MP 22.5 at 11:45 where Amtrak 352 passed it on Main 1 in my backyard. Two CN 2100 series locomotives.

And now at 11:00 am, Train 116 SB with a long train. Missed the power. Seemed to be all containers. If so its power may drift back to Pontiac this afternoon. This seems to be 116's time out of Pontiac lately instead of in the middle of the night unless this is a second section?

The great steel fleet continues rolling down the Holly Subdivision this morning. At 11:50 am another SB this one with two BNSF locomotives and a medium-length train consisting mostly of covered hoppers (an unusual sight on GTW) and most of them were short "sand" hoppers including a ton of WC ones. A new Sand Train? Why the BNSF power? Fourth SB freight this morning including the two locals.

Heard on scanner and saw at Milwaukee Jct the SB with 2 BNSF at about 12:25. This was called out by dispatch as a 502, probably an advance section just like happened on Sunday.

502 met 950 at Clay Ave. NB 950 had only 1 tanker with it and sat on the Sugarhouse in the tight space between the Milwaukee Jct signals and D&M signals while 502 passed on Main 2.

SB just past MP 22.5 on the Holly led by a single BNSF unit at 1:38 pm. Some mixed freight on the headend then the rest autoracks so probably a 280.

About a half hour before the above train, 451 went NB past MP 22.5 with a CN unit leading a BNSF one.

Another 280ish all autoracks train with a single BNSF unit SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 9:10 pm. More foreign power than CN power on the Holly lately.

Last night 391 went NB to Pontiac around its usual time, 9:30 pm, with a BNSF unit leading a CN one.

A bit later what sounded like a lite Geep went SB past MP 22.5. I later heard it head NB lite or with a short train around 2 am. Must have been another 515, maybe just switching Moterm?

Sounds like an eastbound heading towards Lapeer. Modern GE leader, BCR red white and blue cowl unit trailing (both facing east). 75 cars including one loaded container well car.
