GLC just went south from Durand at about 2:46pm with 392, 398, and 45 cars.

Actually, those cars will be taken up north on April 1st and placed in various long-unused sidings, where paid actors will simulate loading/unloading them whenever they see railfans in the vicinity. Once there are at least 25 “educated” guesses as to the new customer on this website, they’ll move them to another town and do the same thing.

HAHA! Good thing I don’t own a railroad and have fuel $$/crews to spare- that’s what I’d be doing on a regular basis, LOL.

399-397 delivered those 8 loads to Elmira today.

I knew you'd get a picture. Knowing your connections they probably even waited a day or two to deliver to Elmira until you were available to take the picture .

399 and 397 left Cadillac for Clare at 1015 with 5 wood chip hoppers, 1 empty centerbeam, 3 covered hoppers, 8 coke hoppers, 3 covered hoppers and 20 tie gons.

I'm thinking the 20 gons may have been the ones stored on the track between Leeson Ave and M-115. If I'm over that way later, I'll take a look.

Returned to Cadillac sometime between 1615 and 1700. How they got past me with the windows open in the house is beyond me.

They looked like former Sultran Bathtub Gondolas. I missed the reporting marks though.

Does look like some of been moved, there are still some stored closer to M-115.

All units were running, however the last two or three units were not under power. I suspect these will be swapped in clare for Cadillac, but that is only a guess

Left Cadillac at 0920, 397 returned at 1045. Looks like a trip to McBain and back today.

Heard nothing yesterday.
