CSX Train Location Updates: 02/05/2017
Sounded like some empties went west through Stevensville in the last 15 minutes. Had 532 axles at 91.9 DD.
Re: CSX Train Location Updates: 02/05/2017
Sounds like a UP leader on Q327 at Livingston right now.
Of course I had a heads-up on the empties when I was at Chesterton, but forgot about them until I was leaving Chesterton and saw a headlight on the CSX as I went over the tracks on highway 49, getting onto I-94 around 1:50pm EST. It was too late to turn around, and the next exit isn't until Michigan City, 8 miles away.

Eastbound for the CSX GRS is currently at CD 500 on track 2E at 13:19 ET. Will go to track 1E at CP 490.
Moving onto the CSX in Porter at CP 482 at 13:48 ET.
The EAS at WE Livingston is showing a clear, most likely for this train.

Some kind of NB work train just cleared Middle River. CSX 4732 + 5243 + NB 70 empty TTX flats. Sounded something like X308-04.
UPDATE: Dispatcher called it out as X808-04.

3:49 PM train dropped off conductor in downtown Wixom and proceeded north. As the last section was about to clear the crossing, train stopped. At 4:00 PM, train reversing into Lincoln Yard. Very odd. I assume cars will be dropped off and then engines will head to Flint as light power (?)SW wrote:Some kind of NB work train just cleared Middle River. CSX 4732 + 5242 + 70 empty TTX flats. NB Q272 turning east at Plymouth. CSX 778 + 5420 + 4 cars: a covered hopper, boxcar, tanker, and an empty autorack.

Sounds like K844 on duty at 1830 in GR, potash train for the GLC at Ann Pere. Not sure if they'll leave it in the Howell siding (might be too long) or meet the GLC there.

At 6:18 PM, train cleared Wixom. NB R322-05 lined behind him, currently at Carleton. If it's normal operations, D737-05 should be coming up within the the next hour.Tier4GEVO wrote:3:49 PM train dropped off conductor in downtown Wixom and proceeded north. It fit, but only after the crew had to tie down their train out by Ogihara and come engines light to move the cars that D908 sat off in the Howell pass last Saturday morning instead of in the transfer (which would have fit there) after they picked up the 21 cars that were there for CSX. Train had CP 8630 leading which should have been one of its first trips since being repainted, (SUPER CLEAN AND FRESH) and CP 8524 power trailing. K844 was here for two and a half hours. Power returned to Lansing. GLC has not yet picked up as of 9:30 am Monday.
